We are excited to announce this year’s annual conference! The event will be returning to Gambrell Hall the University of South Carolina to celebrate our 48th Conference. To ensure the safety of attendees, we ask that visitors adhere to the University of South Carolina’s COVID policies for the event. We will also be providing a hybrid option for those who would like to watch the presentations virtually. More details to come!This year we are thrilled to have Dr. Kenneth Sassaman from the University of Florida (UF) providing a keynote speech on Late Archaic interactions. Dr. Sassaman has a rich history with South Carolina, working at the Savannah River Archaeological Research Program for 12 years before joining the department at UF and has continued to work on archaeology in South Carolina for the past 30 years.
